Where is the Light
Where Is the Light explores the tension between uncertainty and hope. We see a darkened sky, surrounded by a landscape that feels both real and symbolic — a place suspended between memory, silence, and revelation. The painting’s dramatic contrasts and atmospheric light draw the viewer into an emotional question rather than a narrative answer: where does illumination come from when the path ahead is unclear? Through layered color, subtle texture, and a cinematic sense of space, the work reflects my ongoing interest in emotional landscapes that invite contemplation, wonder, and personal interpretation.

Fog Holding Light
Fog Holding Light explores the quiet tension between obscurity and illumination. A winding path carries the viewer toward a distant figure standing above a vast sea of fog, where light struggles softly through layers of cloud and atmosphere. The landscape feels suspended between revelation and concealment — a moment in which clarity has not fully arrived, yet hope remains present within the mist itself.
This painting represents a new direction for me, allowing a landscape tell a story.

Field in Motion
Field in Motion captures the landscape not as a fixed place, but as a living rhythm of wind, light, and movement. Sweeping grasses and vibrant poppies dissolve into layered gestures and flowing lines, creating a field that feels both observed and imagined. The painting balances softness and energy, inviting the viewer into a moment where nature becomes almost musical — shifting, luminous, and alive with motion. Here I take a closeup of a landscape and make it an abstraction.
This painting is on exhibition at the 16th Annual Landscape Digital Exposition by Light, Space, and Time.

Space Between the Stones
The Space Between Stones reflects on stillness, balance, and the quiet passage of time. Scattered rocks inhabit a luminous space marked by delicate, rhythmic lines in the sand — traces left behind by water, wind, and movement now absent. The painting emphasizes emptiness as much as form, allowing the open spaces between the stones to become places of contemplation and emotional resonance.
Where the Light Returns
Mountains emerge from layers of mist and fading light as the landscape unfolds toward the horizon. Balancing observation with imagination, the painting explores distance, scale, and the quiet sense of wonder found in expansive spaces.
This work marks an important step in my movement away from literal representation toward landscapes shaped as much by emotion and contemplation as by observation.

Boat at the Edge of Weather
Boat at the Edge of Weather captures the fragile boundary between calm and uncertainty. A weathered boat rests on the dune as distant lightning breaks across the horizon, illuminating the sea with brief flashes of light. The empty vessel and scattered footprints suggest a human presence just beyond the frame, creating a quiet tension between solitude, memory, and approaching change.
