My work explores atmosphere as an emotional and psychological space rather than a literal depiction of landscape. Through fog, light, distance, weather, silence, and simplified forms, I create paintings that hover between representation and abstraction, clarity and obscurity, and calm and tension. I am drawn to transitional spaces — paths disappearing into fog, isolated stones, distant figures, open water, shifting light — because they evoke uncertainty, discovery, and movement through the unknown.
